Session topic: Chronic pain in palliative care: the role of opioids and what to do if they are not working

Speaker: Dr Yok-Yin Lee

Dr Yok-Yin Lee is a palliative care specialist who works at Eastern Health in the palliative care unit and outpatient clinic. She has a GP background and has a specialist interest in pain management. She will talk about approaches to chronic pain management in a palliative care population. She will cover both pharmacological and non-pharmacological options, including the role of acupuncture for which she uses regularly in her practice.
