Biography

Dr Dov Degen, General Physician, Nephrologist

Dr Dov Degen is a dual trained Nephrologist and General Medicine Physician with Peri-operative experience. He have a public appointment at Eastern Health and private rooms at Central Park Specialist Centre. With a passion for medical education, Dr Degen is a Teaching Associate at Monash University and former Director of Physician Education.

Dr Degen has extensive medical experience in diverse areas, with particular interests in diabetic nephropathy, hypertension, mental health (including lithium nephropathy), metabolic syndrome, palliative care, and chronic disease management.

As an active mental health advocate for SANE Australia and Beyond Blue, Dr Degen takes pride in considering patients’ psychosocial and mental health concerns, which enables him to deliver holistic care.
